We breed ASDR Standard Australian Shepherds and keep their gorgeous tails.
All of our dogs are genetically health tested before breeding
We have been proud Australian Shepherd owners since 2008 but decided to get into breeding these amazingly smart dogs a few years back. We have had 2 ASDR litters from Blue (aka"Cali's Blue Moon") & Lilly (aka"TX NBA's Nightblooming Australian Shepherds") that were born in 2023 & 2024. They have produced some gorgeous, sweet tempered puppies. We are raising all of our puppies alongside dam and sire in our family home. They are being raised alongside our 4 children, age 10 and under. We are switching up our program a bit and are giving our 2 keeper females some time to mature before we plan on having more litters. We have been very lucky that a lot of our previous pups have stayed not only in Texas, but close by so we do puppy playdates all the time😊. When you get a puppy from Cali's Australian Shepherds, you become part of our family❤️.

Lilly is a beautiful classic black tri Standard Aussie who was bred by Texas Nightblooming Australian Shepherds in Laredo, Texas. She is a people lover and can play fetch for hours. She also likes agility courses and ALL the human attention she can get!She was born on June 13th of 2020 and is 19.5" tall and weighs 40lbs.Lilly is a double registered(AKC & ASDR) red factored female Australian Shepherd who has brown eyes but carries the blue eye gene and has produced lots of blue eyes babies.
Blue is a gorgeous blue merle Standard Aussie who is bi-eyed and stands at 21" tall and weighs about 54lbs. He loves rope toys and to play tug-o-war with dogs or humans. He loves snuggles and is a super mellow tempered big baby. He is ASDR registered and a carrier of the MDR1 gene, otherwise genetically cleared. He was bred in Oklahoma and born on "Star Wars Day"(May 4th 2020).Blue is also red factored and has produced beautiful pups in all colors and patterns with Lilly. He is a great dad and helps a lot with the cleaning of the pups.
Previous litters/pups
Our first ASDR litter was born on July 5th of 2023. Lilly had 6 healthy pups and blessed us with 2 red merles, 3 blue merles and 1 red tri pup. All 6 kept their blue eyes and we had 3 males/3 females. We kept the chunk of the litter "Lucifer" aka "Luci".
Her 2nd ASDR litter was born February 10th of 2024 and she had 6 healthy pups as well. 2 males/4 females this time around. We had one blue eyed baby and some brown and hazel colored eyes. 3 blue merle pups, 2 red tri's and 1 black tri. We are keeping a beautiful blue merle female this time as well.
